Vanilla Matcha Protein Smoothie

Using matcha before hitting the gym in the morning gives me that boost I need to push harder in the workout. The caffeine from matcha I find is just enough for me to get energy but not jittery. Try this matcha protein from Perry for something fast and simple that is also delicious.


  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 scoops vanilla whey
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 banana
  • 2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
  • Fresh vanilla bean, scraped from 1 inch of a pod


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
