I have always enjoyed banana bread for breakfast and as a snack, so I was delighted to stumble upon this this wonderful gluten free matcha green tea banana bread recipe by Sandi of Fearless Dining. I was surprised to learn that some makers have gluten in their matcha. So, for anyone avoiding gluten completely, it doesn’t hurt to double-check the ingredient list on your matcha powder! In any case, matcha is a perfect addition to any breakfast snack for its added antioxidants and caffeine boost. I’m sure we can all use more of that in the morning!
